G7 Application Managed Service

WSP

G7 were invited in by Unit4 to assist WSP with their testing of Milestone 6 (Business World On!). This involved on site assistance and use of the G7 Application Managed Service.

Since go live G7 have assisted WSP with;

  • Testing of incoming invoice processes and identification of any issues or changes in functionality for Milestone 6 upgrade
  • Workshop for the Accounts Payable team to answer queries and improve their understanding of the functionality
  • Configured application for importing XML invoice files (EI02 process), resolved testing issues and trained key users on new functionality

Bury Council

Following a procurement process, Bury Council chose G7 and their unique blended upgrade approach, for their upgrade from U4BW Version 5.5.3 to Milestone 6 (Business World On!) adding Fixed Assets.

G7 provided on site assistance for project management, differences workshops and the implementation of Fixed Assets and then Bury Council used the G7 AMS for any queries or testing assistance.

G7 provided the technical upgrade work through their partner QuickThink Cloud.

Northumbria Police

Following a procurement process for support services, Northumbria Police chose G7 and their Application Managed Service to assist with calls from their users.

Northumbria Police have since used the G7 on site consulting expertise to help with areas such as Payroll year end, removing data from an old client and a complete system audit with recommendations for change. G7 are currently working with Northumbria Police to implement some of these recommendations and start to realise benefits.

SiSSC

SiSSC is a shared service for Colleges in the South East of England.  SiSSC approached G7 to help with their day to day support of these colleges. 

In addition G7 have provided a wide range of technical support including Excelerater and ARC reporting.  G7 also investigated the issues encountered whilst configuring the Payroll Year End changes.
